We continued our long-standing collaboration with Panasonic at the 2018 IFA trade show in Berlin. Our responsibilities included the creation of sets, experiences and decoration for various areas displaying Panasonic's wide-ranging product palette, from kitchen appliances, to cameras TV and hi-fi.
One of the highlights from 2018 included a rock-climbing installation for the Digital Imaging area that invited visitors to scale an artificial cliff-face. An exaggerated perspective created the illusion of being hundreds of metres above the ground, which resulted in some great photo souvenirs for participants. Another crowd-pleaser was a large slot-car setup that allowed visitors to test the high-speed photography features of the Panasonic camera range.
We also assisted with the redesign of the barbershop area for the Personal Care product range, revising the scenography and developing a live demonstration concept. For the Technics and Future Home areas, we created inviting settings that complemented the design aesthetic of the Panasonic products on display and highlighted their technical features.
